I wasn't aware the powersteering vs the non power steering struts were any different...
I swapped in a 'power' strut to my 'nonpower' celica......

setsuna, i was unaware as well...does anyone know if they are different?
wilbo666, sorry bro those ones will change my stud pattern on the front which will make them different to the back
just to let you know they are going to be a fornt suspension conversion for my ke70 corolla, once complete it works a treat, great for my little drifter.

Just so you know, MA61's struts are exactly the same (same stud pattern, offset etc, i.e identical) save for a larger kingpin angle which gives slightly more +ve camber.
Ed_ma61's site will give you a better indication

oh really thats sounds like what i want, so by +ve camber you mean is tilts in more at the top of the wheel when looking front on with them, giving it that real drift look? sorry im not much when it comes to suspension... if this is true im very interest in these, could you please p.m. you contact no. and ill call you the 1st chance i get this week, also where are you located?

No, by positive camber I mean exactly that. Positive Camber...
teh fully sik droifto look is negative camber. MA61 struts have a lesser amount of fully hectix dorifto camber. MA61 struts have about 2.5 -> 3 deg less negative camber when compared to RA6X/SA63 struts I believe (when placed into a MA61 anyway...).
I suspect you will already have enough positive camber issues, but if your still interested I'll send you a PM.

oh your in perth thats true, well where abouts in perth because if you have a maccaferties bus terminal there, that would be great as they are pretty cheap if the package is small which 2 stuts, brakes, etc arent that big. shouldnt be over $40, what sort of price where you asking? are they complete (absolutly everything)? are they in good nick i.e. non rusted rotors, good calipers? could you send some pics to my email, its fourwheeldemon@hotmail.com
cheers bro

wilbo, do those struts have bolt on caliper plates or are they integral???. I'm chasing a pair of struts, big bearing type with bolt on caliper plates. dont care about length. thanks

The caliper plates aren't bolt on.
RA40 struts share the same spindle / hub bearings etc and have a bolt on caliper plate? Perhaps they will suit the application(I don't have any, just suggesting something that might be useful)?
