2JZGE Soarer, extractors, exhaust Tue, 08 March 2005 10:52 Go to next message
I've recently bought a 2JZ Soarer to replace my 3TGTE Celica. just wondering if anyone could recommend what sort of extractors and exhaust i could put on it to give it a bit more power. i'm not wanting to go over the top, i did that with the Celica.

cheers

you would most likely need a custom fabricated system made up... unless TRD released them as a aftermarket part?

With a full exhaust, aftermarket panel filter with cold air feed, and maybe an SAFC to tune the fuel mixtures? you should yield around the 190kw mark from 165kw stock....

A cheap option maybe to source some 2JZGE VVTi headers, cut off the cats in the secondaries and run some nice pipes from them. Probably wouldn't go over 2.5" diameter - will drone.

Otherwise you can source some Xerd or Toyomoto headers from the States, or get some customs made.
