4agte using stock ecu

Hey ppl!
I have an ae92 smallport map sensored 4agze.
I know that I can use the stock ecu to run the engine with a turbo up to 14psi, but my question is:
Can I change to the bigport head and NA bigport cams and still use the stock ecu?
Anyone running this setup?
Thanks!

cam timing duration and lift would all be different i would use atleast a piggy back ecu.
You could use it but y not use the smallport
are you sure those ecu's are mapped to 14psi i thought they were only mapped to 12psi in the later versions. I defiantley know the afm ecu is mapped to 14psi.

I want to use the bigport head as it's supposed to be better for turbo applications... Also I already have a rwd bigport inlet manifoild.
4agte - Yup my mate runs his ae92 map sensored 4agte to 14psi using the stock ecu. No problems.

fair enuf and i agree the bigport engines are better for turbo applications i will be turboing my 4agze afm version very shortly.
The smallport ecu should work "ok" with the bigport head.

bigport = better for high kw applications.
smallport better for driveability and medium kw applications?
the bigport ports are very large.

The afm ecu is mapped higher than 14psi. I am running one at 16psi right now, with no FCD or anything.

I have the smallport ecu working with bigport cams. Not hard at all.
