i guess it really depends on the quality of the car. both interior and exterior
i know a guy who who bought his ra23 with a W57 gear box.. and twin carbie 18rg for $3000
car was a deal, a steal, it was the sale of the century
it had nice paint sterio and ROH 16inch wheels...
u can pay anywhere from 2-5k

Yeah for a good clean one with nothing done to it, you can spend up to $3000 for one.
I am getting a good deal...
A TA23(hard to come by now), all stripped primed ready for paintin perfectly straight no rust. Import seats, supra front brakes, sunroof..
For $700
Just a matter of lookin and being patient I guess, unless you wanna buy one for like $10,000 or more with all the work done to it

id expect to get about 3000 to 3500 for mine considering modifications and condition if i was to sell
I just like the 18rg's they seem a very good powerplant
The other way would be getting a ta22 with 2tgeu/3tgteu already installed for some forced induction fun ..
i know of one ra28 that has a carby 18rg - but id prefer EFI , so i guess ill be looking for a bit longer

I can vouch for the strength of the 18rg personally, they are strong engines, I cooked it a couple of times so hot that there was oil drippin out of the side of me block, good stuff...
It was not in the greatest of conditions, like I talkin oil in me water system, but she kept going and going and going...
