4AGZE Conversion Help

I have put a 4AGZE engine in my AE92 Corolla GTi (UK car) but I am having a few problems getting it running. The car cranks but does not fire. There is oil pressure and the injectors are getting a feed. When cranking the engine there is no spark however spark plugs no 2 & 3 do fire when manually triggered by grounding from the igniter or the ECU. The igniter itself has been grounded to the battery so im confident that isnt the problem. Do sparks 1 & 4 require a positive connection to fire??
Both the igniter and cam angle sensor have been tesed on another 'ZE and work fine. However i was unable to test the ECU as the engine was an AE101 rather than an AE92 which is what i have. For the record its a MAP engine and distributorless.
On one of the plugs, the one which goes to the dash has a wire that is cut its a blue wire with a yellow line on it, we have always thought this is the tacho wire, can anyone confirm this? If its not the tacho wire it could be the AC wire which means the tacho wire could be connected. Im sure i have read somewhere that if the tacho is not converted it kills the spark, is this right? Also do the pins need to be moved about on this plug?
I have pictures of the ECU wiring, plugs and the blue wire. Could it be we have missed something obvious in wiring up the ECU? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

hinricp,
Thanks for the info I have tested the coil pack by switching the plug leads about and there is no problems there.
As for the injectors I dont think there is a problem there as theres no spark when cranking. Also the injectors are getting a feed.

first thing to do is
try start it on aerostart
spray it down the intake see if it runs
this will tell u if its either spark or fuel
earth the ignitor on body
doesnt need to be on battery
make sure both coils have power to the black/orange wire
no wire from ecu is proper tacho wire
blue with yell might be the trigger for the 2 speed fuel pump
is the ecu turnin on
connect the check light this will tell u if the ecu is turnin on
it ewill also tell u if any codes
sounds like u are lookin in wrong area
its not that hard
just go back to basics
if an toyota engine doesnt start first few turns it shuts the injectors down
its weird how u say u have spoark here but not there
if the loom is in one piece then it shopuld fire both coils when needed
has anyone cut the fuk out of the loom
has the crank sensor been fiutted back in correctly
i did a job where the idiots removed crank sensor and didnt tell me
i removed crank sensor top and kept turnin crank sensor one tooth at a time and then cranking to see if that was prob
eventually i got correct spot and it fired up
