Any advice? 1st gen 3SGE head crapped up. Thu, 10 March 2005 13:02
A thread in the head of my 3SGE has gone to crud it's currently an M10 (1.25mm thread?) and I need it drilled and tapped to a larger size (ie M12), should I be worried about drilling the thing straight and what about the fact that it is aluminium - is that going to affect how much it (the stud) can be torqued up once it's been tapped?

(edit)
Oh I suppose I should mention it's for the exhaust manifold.
