Hey guys,
Can i use a RA65 and get all the bits from it to convert a auto RA28 to a manual??
is there some parts that need to come from the 23/28 series??

Depends on the engine. If both are R series engines you should be able to use them. Not sure what bit's you'll need though. Probably bell housing, diff, slave and master cylinders etc. Don't know too much about doing a conversion but if the engines are the same can't see too much of a problem

The RA6x has a W55 or W57 transmission, while the RA28 has a W50. You can make it fit but it won't be a direct swap. Stuff like the clutch pedal and hydraulics will be the same deal - similar, but not exactly the same. You're much better off getting all the required parts from an RA23/28/40 donor car.

I used a RA60 to convert mine. The gearbox will fit with a slightly modifyed cross member, the pedal box is a pain in the ass though. Much easier to get the pedals and pedal box from a wrecker. Also the master cylinder, your RA28 will have a hole but it'll be different, the bolts on the RA60 are on an angle whereas the RA28 is straight up and down. one arm goes under the brake booster so it's not all that easy (I only put one bolt in mine and it seems to hold OK).
