hi guys, has anyone tried using the leads for a 2tg in an 18rg?
ie are the plugs the same and is the length of each of the leads about right to use in an 18rg.
asking because it seems that everyone i go to has 2tg leads in stock but noone ever has 18rg leads on the shelf?
why not get leads the length you need from the shelf rack?
you can swap the spark plug cover rubbers onto them, that
what i did. i got a couple of individual 8mm champion red triple silicone from repco all for about $30 to make a set.

Wouldn't the leads for the 2t-g be too short for the 18r-g ? Being that the 2t-g dizzy sits up near the head where as the dizzy for the 18r-g sits lower down.
so chances are all but the last one would fit then if they were used (throw the short one out and use the next shortest lead in cylinder 1)?
styler i don't understand what you mean, the ones off the shelf don't have the rubber boot on them that covers the spark plug hole. i tried to remove the boot from my top gun spark plug lead and ended up just breaking it completely so how did you manage to get the rubber on yours?
