Targa Tops

Hey people...
I did a search, but couldn't find what I wanted exactly...
I'm just wondering, in the MA70/JZA70, where does the targa roof sit when not on the roof? Do you have to leave it at home? Does it clip into the boot in a certain area or something?
How does it lock into the roof?
How heavy is it?
How many people are needed to remove it?
Thanks people...
Matt

Roof sits in the boot in special clips
It bolts onto the car with 4 hex bolts
its not very heavy
one can do it, but two makes it a lot easier

Where abouts in the boot does it sit?
Does it stop a sub from being placed in there if you want to be able to take the roof off?

it fills up the boot, there is no room for a normal sized sub.
a mate and me had to custom build a box to suit, was very low profile.

wouldnt running a sub with the top off create less bass througout the car because of less space/enclosure to bounce off ?

it sure does!
the box we made up has 2x 12" Cadence Flash subs in it, not really ideal, but its what my friend really wanted
having the roof off is the best fun

You'd have to make the sub box on the side (two 10s?), or in the tyre well.
If you put it in the side, you could half sink it into the guard to make it fit.
Theres a fair bit of room underneath, you might be able to fit a very flat box on the right hand side (where the spare isn't).

Hey Supra Pete
Do you have a pic with the roof NOT in the boot?
I haven't really had a chance to have a look through the boots on the MA70 ETC...
I'm hoping that is your car right?
Thanks heaps guys...
Seems like their should be plenty of room...
