Hey toymods.
I was just browsing through some old fast fours mags today at tafe and i found a results page with an 18rg with a time of 10.04 for the 1/4 mile.
It was the March 2004 edition and The owner was said to be from queensland and the car was a corrola.
Does anyone know about this 18rg? sounds pretty tough to me.

There was a name(forget), the class he competed in(forgot), it says his car is a corrolla and that he is from QLD. It also had event location.
I was just looking at the times, and it had a heep of sr20's and an FJ12 or 2 then i saw this 18rg with 10.04 next to it.
Its in The 2004 march edition so some 1 might like to dig it up. I borrowed the amg of a freind at tafe so i cant get it back till next week.
But yer me being an 18rg fan also want to know about it.

Hi,
Toyota's dependable masterpiece, the 18RG. It truly is a grand old engine. Depsite the newer technology engines around, there is something about that wonderful old engine.

Yeah that is his name. My GF’s dad knows him. But he calls him Peter Kip. He said I should get in contact with him regarding my own drag car as he is very experienced and knows a lot of tricks with turbo cars.

BTW it is interesting on that drag car that it still runs an intercooler. I would have thought it would be running methanol to run those times which usually means no need for intercooler.
