Im pretty sure the box is exactly the same as the Aus spec T50.

The only difference is is that the Jap spec T50 has a different bellhousing in the way that you r clutch slave is on the drivers side instead the passsenger side.

If you go to a wrecker or something and tell them you need specifically a jap spec they will shit all over ya and then take all your money!

Hope this helps,

Jezza

Pm a guy Henn on these forums re the Jap spec bellhousing to mount your slave on the other side.

Then all ya need is the gearbox from Aus spec.

I just want a T50 Jap Spec. Not an Aus Spec as it is not what i want.
Now does anyone actually have one or do people just wanna try and convince me they're not different?

the gearbox is the same. the bell housing is different and the worm drive is possibly different but can be changed easily.

I have several JDM boxes. They usually have roller bearings rather than ball races. E mail me for prices and alternatives

I think T-18's have the slave on the drivers side too. Im pretty sure thats the side I noticed it to be on.

Not really parting with either of ours at this stage, sorry.
