Is there an avatar file size limit?

Basically, I wanted to do a little animated gif avatar in 140x100, but the file size might be a little bigger than usual. Is there a file size limit on avatars, and if so what is it?

Yes its under the avatar section of your profile. And animated avatars are not allowed here anyway.

Sorry, I didn't see it in the avatar details. All I can see is this:
Homepage:
Avatar Type: Upload Avatar
The custom avatar will not appear until it is approved by the administrator.
The avatar, should be no larger then 140x100 pixels and must be in jpg, gif or png format.

Birth Date:
Does it give the max file size somewhere else?
Anyway, doesn't really matter if there are no animated ones - was just curious.

As cool1 said we don't allow animated avatars. I know some people like them but it just attracts attention away from generating useful content.

The size limit is roughly 20kB (20000B to be precise).

The filesize limit is 20000B which is roughly 20kB. 19.53125kB to be precise... 
Why don't you go start a riot or something?
