how to install ma61 back seats Mon, 14 March 2005 10:08 Go to next message
one would think this was freakin obvious, but I'm stumped. I need to know how to mount the 2 back rest parts of the back seats.

I know the middle mounts with 2 screws, but at the sides all there is is a big metal bar with a plate on the end, and nowhere to mount it.

after a bit of networking (thanks mainly to JCMF) I've found out I need these http://iamfrank.ath.cx/seat.jpg, which I dont have.
Instead, I have this:

and, upon closer inspection, it looks liek the style of JCMF's supra, to suit my seats, is integrated into the chassis.
All I have there is a hole in the side of the car for that crappy plate to bolt in to.

anyone ever noticed this discrepency?

or, better yet, does anyone have any good metalworking tools I can come around and use for an hour to cut bits out of there?
