Hey All,
What is the actual temprature reading on an MA61 per bar on the digital readout?
Cheers.

Bad guess.
Easiest way if it is not listed in the TRSM, is to get a multimeter and temp probe and watch the bars light up from cold and note the temp.
Typically, gauges start at about 50 deg and the top of scale is about 150, and centre should be about 90 to 100 degrees. It may not be linear either.

Sorry - I havn't mapped it out yet. But, comparing the Haltech display to digital dash indicates that (a) it's not linear and (b) it shifts to the mid-way bar at around 88 degrees.

You are correct, it's definitely not a linear scale. From memory most of the movement is a few degrees above and below the "middle" temperature.

My MX73 guage (which would use the same sender as MA61), doesn't move from 80deg C to 95deg C.
It will move up once the water temp is about 98, and when it hits 100 the guage is over 3/4
I would hazard a guess that the MA61 would be identical to this
