Has anyone come across a database that allows u to find out exactly what a toyota left the factory with by way of the vin no ? I have trouble cos mine is a japanese import.

ring castle hill toyota or penrith toyota with any VIN numbers you have they might be able to give you more info on the car

i managed to find out info on my GA70 front cut this way

Well this has some info about Celica's

And there is this site as well. 1970-1977 Celicas are the main focus but there is plenty of general Toyota stuff as well.
I managed to find out that my car was built end of May in 1977!
