Guys,
Finally got my papers back and obviously I need to submit an engineers report. So can anyone recommend an engineer or advise anyone to stay away from, obviously if you wanna bag someone PM may be a better option.
Cheers

You no doubt got a list of Engineers with that paper work yes?
I am using Jack Apgar, mainly because he lives but a few hundred metres away.
His charges are $100 per inspection, $200 for a brake test (have to drive to the back of wanneroo to do it) and $150 for the report.
Seems like a very nice guy.
Went over my whole car and advised me to change a few things before it goes over the pits (brake lines looked like they had cracks etc), so he does almost as thorough a check as the pit boys do.
I have only had one inspection, so can't comment on the rest, but the brake test will involve 2 emergency stops from 100kph, and a handbrake stop from 35kph I think (so make sure its adjusted).
Didnt care about my pod filter when it was on there, and as long as the wiring is tidy, the mounts look solid, nothing is touching any thing that moves, nothing is touching/close to anything that gets hot, and anything rubber or fuel related is shielded from exhaust heat then it should be fine.

RA23Celica/Mitch has recently had his car engineered for a very competitive price, give him an email for contact details.

I have used Rod Style, from Carlisle, and for the same reasons CrUZsida listed in his post, strangely enough.....

Pit guys don't have the qualifications or knowledge to tell whether a mod is structurally safe and legal.
