EP82 into what ? ?

hey all, im after some suggestions as to what i can put a 4efte into, ill have about 5k to do the conversion and 1k to spend on a car(preferably a car with a rooted engine in it thats cheap). I dont want anything too oldish like an ae82, maybe something like a 2 door swift or charade or something similar. Thanks.

Not to mention that you'll need some of that money to ensure that you're suspension/brakes are up to scratch...
Will you be doing most of the work yourself or through a workshop? In either case you'd want to keep the costs down so keeping it FWD would help, although you'll always be pouring more money in when fitting and engine from one manufacturer to another vehicle of a different manufacturer.
I don't mind the Swift idea, but whats wrong with an AE82/92? If you looked hard enough, you might find a cheap one with a dodgy motor but the good suspension package in it already...
Mind you...ever thought about chucking it in a MightyBoy? hehehe

for a "Komplete Kustom" job done by someone else, start figuring more than 5K.. ppl charge 5K to put a 4AG inplace of a 4AC 
a GTI swift arguably has a nicer engine as a base, although it isn't turbo, but is the 4E that much of an improvement?
i say be different and put it RWD  .. in a KE10/20 
heck or be very very different and put it in a subaru sherpa
