Night Cruise to Palm beach

Hey people, this months official cruise is to palm beach (this time we go all the way there though), but this time we're going at night. It's time to take advantage of our warm summer evenings, and our great beach roads.
DATE: Friday 29th November
TIME: 8:OOpm
MEETING AT: Homebush Bay
DESTINATION: Palm Beach, then the Space Station.
We'll be starting at Homebush bay, in the carpark off Australia av right near the station. Meet there at 8p.m.
Leave NO LATER than 8:30, heading north up Homebush bay drive. We'll follow this road as it changes names a couple times, church st, lane cove rd, ryde rd, stopping at Bicentenial park in Pymble for a re-group depending on the number of cars we have.
Keep heading north along the same road, now called Mona Vale rd, all the way to Mona Vale where we turn left onto Barrenjoey rd and follow this all the way up to Palm Beach, where we'll stop for a possible photo opportunity.
When we leave Palm beach, we're gonna head back down Barrenjoey rd, then just before we get back to Mona Vale rd we'll hang a right & head up pittwater road, for some curvature action.
Eventually we meet up with Mona Vale rd where we turn right, but chuck a left down Forest way after only a km or so.
Follow Forest Way to the end, where we turn right onto Warringah rd and crank along,swing a right at boundary rd which takes us up to the Pacific Hwy.
Here we go left and follow it until artarmon & the beggining of the Gore Hill Freeway, where wo go right & head down epping rd for our final destination, the Space Station (the big Shell service station with the maccas in it).
I should be able to get a few maps organised to hand out on the night, & as usual (well, it will be soon) we'll be tuned into channel 16 on the CBs.

I'd love to be there,
but I wrote the camry off.
Put it up the gutter last Saturday morning.
Basically disintegrated the front left hand corner.
Want the details, check bens thread in the NSW forum.
Just been having trouble with insurance and getiing my
stereo out that wasn't on the policy, but I have it now,
sitting in my room doing jack all but teasing me.
I am so pissed off, cause I don't have A FREAKING CAR.
Anyways, I can't make it, I have a camp, yes, a camp
that weekend that I gotta go to.
Anyways....again.....I'll catchup with ya'll soon, I hope.

Hrmm, me can't help but wonder if this will effect the cruise that i've got planned to the very same place on the very next night 
I'd like to point out that I posted the twincam16 cruise on the 22nd of October a full two weeks b4 this one came into existance. By this logic it appears that u r a big fat copy cat  Aaah well, nevermind, such is life. I hope u guys have a great cruise and if your keen, why not join us the next night and do it all again

Hey hey, now that's what I like to see, a nice big bunch of keen beans!
Let's see if we can get more old celicas together for this than we did for the last Palm Beach cruise, it'll be tough, but I reckon we can make it happen! We gotta beat 12......
Hey singlecam, I promise you I don't need to steal cruise ideas! With all the suggestions people have come up with I have cruise destinations coming out my bu...... um... ears.
But If anyone has any more suggestions, keep 'em coming.
PS, one section of the cruise is not really suitable for anything but a small number of cars, so it has been edited.

You drive up Australia Avenue, and just before you get to the station, it's the carpark on your left... If you turn up 5 - 10mins later than the meeting time, you will see some cars there anywayz...

Cool, looks like it'll be a good night.
Jason & Mikey, I expect to see you both, with your rolla's plished up, full of juice, & ready to r........ um, have a really fun time.
Seeing as it's a friday night & we should be at our final destination sometime before/around 12, I reckon we should continue on for a drive somewhere. Maybe up the old pac, or into the city, or whatever.
Those that want to bail home or where ever can, and whoever is keen can continue on into the night.
Think about it & we can figure it out at the time.
