gday, i jst got an 88 camry as my 1st car, and i was wondering if a 20 valve head would fit onto the 2L dohc in it, also do you know if a quad cam v6 out of the new camrys or a lexus V8 would fit under the hood and also does any1 know where i could get a good bodykit for it or would i need to get it custom made

hmmm one of my spare cars is an 87 camry. i wouldnt
even consider doing it up, not worth it in any respect.
well if anyone has worked one it would be a surprise.
only the latest lexus powered ones are decent for modding.
id sell it and find a more suitable car to modify.

3sgte , 3sge will bolt into your camry.. have to stick with the "s" series engines for it to be a bolt in a few people have puy 3sgtes in them more power than you could ever need for a camry

just because you wouldnt mod it doesnt mean someone else wouldnt Razz

I seriously would consider modding a SV21 camry.

lotsa engine bay space for a 3sgte..
decent size interior for a stereo install.

Cops will leave you alone. And the look on peoples faces (when you ripp em) will be pricesless.

Considering they are about the same or a little less weight than a celica, it's a pretty good idea.

Theres plenty of info on old threads here, go to the toymods search and type: sv21 conversion or sv21 3sge etc etc..
