I have a 4AGE JDM in my AE86 and I have noticed on some other peoples ride that the alt. is in a different location than mine. I posted a pic below of my engine bay, is this correct?

well firstly what you have there is NOT the factory alternator, it looks more like a 4AC one that someone has adapted to suit, secondly its mounted in the FWD configuration.

Is there any major difference between the 4AC and 4AGE engine alternator?
