after i put new brakes on the car i noticed some of the bushes were stuffed and one of the idler arm bent. i replaced it but now at full lock it hits the crossmember, is this because of the conversion done dodgy or is it a common problem. i put old arm in but the rest of the front end is so out its causing steering problems (only minor) but im off to a advanced driving day soon and want it to be right.
cheers

Check the other current thread on idler arms.
Then get your car down to a suspension specialist ASAP and get it sorted.
If you are having these problems and then doing driving training days you will throw yourself off the road if your steeering is not sorted.

bump, still doesnt answer my question. i use a ta22 idler arm same as my one except my one is bent so it doesnt hit the modified? crossmember. i just fitted nolathane bushes all round man the thing is so tight ill rattle my fillings out.
