MA61 Supra Fuel Pump Wiring Problem

Gday fellahs,
i have struck a problem with my fuel pump...
i replaced my old fuel thinking that it was buggered...well, after driving from Biloela to Innisfail (aprox 1100kms) all went well, till i stopped in Townsville, then things started to happen... not starting, starting but dying after 10 seconds into idle...
i got home alright after all that... so i instantly thought fuel pump(after a few tests)...bought a new one, replaced it...no go... put power directly to the pump and presto we have fuel pumping all over the floor...(i've checked fuses aswell, there all good)
Bad wiring is the verdict... any one can who can second that...and if anyone knows how to overcome this problem i would be ever grateful...as i need to get back down to Biloela to start my new position as IT Officer at the council down there.
im not much of an auto electrition but any help would be appreciated...
thanks very muchly.

id also consider checking the switch in the afm,
it could be going open circuit when u idle and just looses fuel pressure.... had that happen before
