different toyota fuel pump questions

Hi,
ok i've done a search on fuel pumps and found some basic information. I was just wondering though if someone can direct me to a list of which model toyota fuel pumps came out with what toyota engines or cars? I ask because i'm wondering what power a standard, second hand 1ggte fuel pump would be expected to handle safely, as opposed to a unused 2jz fuel pump? I'm getting a 2jz fuel pump fitted with a fuel reg, just a matter of when, and i wont be stretching either with power output regardless, but just curious, they're probably both a nippon denso make, but different models with different flow capacities, am i right in assuming that? And one is 20 years old and one isn't

Not sure about the 1G pump, but 2JZ pumps are pretty hardcore and might be overkill for your needs. This site has a lot of useful info including flow comparisons of the JZA80 Supra pump and other stock/aftermarket pumps:
