Struts/shocks with lowered King Springs?

I have lowered King Springs in my RA65 and Monroe GT shocks/struts. I think they don't control the stiffer/shorter springs quite well enough, and am thinking about getting soemthing better. I think something better would control body roll more too.... (?) Don't want to loose all my ride though, and don't have heaps of $$$.
Any comments/suggestions? What do you all use in your toys? Repco told me that King Springs actually recommend Monroe GTs with their springs.

Maybe the Monroe Sensatracs would be a bit better. Bit more expensive tho but surely not ridiculous like konis or bilsteins

I used KYB shocks with my 1&1/2" lowered King Springs. They handle the much stiffer ride very well, and werent too expensive i think, maybe around $320 for all 4, maybe cheaper i cant remember. But these were recommended to me by a couple of places as a good strut to go with king springs in this sort of application. Have never had any trouble with em and are quite happy with the $ spent.
May need different with a much lower spring, less damper maybe..
??
ask around at suspension specialist workshops

Thanks for that. I didn't realise Kings made 1 1/2" drop springs, mine are just the regular lowered ones, which I always thought were 40mm drop (1"3/8ths, close enough to 1"1/2 I guess). I looked on their new site, they say their springs are only 30mms, which i think is more like an inch. Anyway - those seem good prices. I am thinking about the KYBs...what model are you using?
I emailed Kings, here are their replies. He actually sounds a bit curt in the last one, I think he took me the wrong way (I am not bagging Monroes at all, just didn't realise Kings "endorsed" them)
Stefan,
As you will note from the first reply, I have only given you alternative
options to the Monroe brand. We stock both of these alternatives and can
sell at the quoted prices.
The Repco agent is correct in suggesting that the Monroe brand is compatible
with our coil products. Unfortunately we cannot govern your preferences.

I got monroe's on my Seca SX and they're fine. Sure they're a bit firm but they're good value and suit australian conditions (being designed and developed here) unlike Koni and Bilstein which are designed and tested on the smooth, flawless roads of Europe and Japan.
Maybe you just had shit springs and shot bushes. Bad luck Juzzo.

Without hi-jacking the thread (says he, doing exactly that! ), I wonder if anyone can point me in the right direcion for the follwoing after-market products for our 1UZ-powered MX83 Cressida:
Performance shocks/struts
Lowered (Kings) springs
Nolathane (or similar) bushes, in varying "stiffnes", depending on application,
Sway bar/s (prob. rear only).
A) Where did you get 'em
B) How much did they cost, including fitting...
Any help appreciated.

All I can help is that King Springs tend to be about $125-$140 a pair. You can get them at Repco and other places. Whiteline make swaybars (You can buy these at Repco too) - their website isn't very helpful but you could email them to see if they sell them to suit your car.
