Please explain. Sat, 19 March 2005 08:58 Go to next message
I hate being a pain in the arse but ya gotta cut an old bloke some slack. I've been hanging round here for a coupla months now and always read with interest most (not all) of the posts on the forums.
What I need to know is could someone point me in the direction of somewhere that describes what all the models and engines are. I mean I know what a 3TGTE is because I have one in the RA28 but as for anything else, well I'm lost.
I'll read where someones put a 1G or something else into a car and I've got no idea what they all are. Like 7AGE and stuff like that. I have no idea what these models look like.

Please forgive my ignorance and sorry that I have to be nursed along like this.

Thanks blokes.
Cheers, Greg

Hey Greg
If you take a look around in the tech doc's section on the side bar ( where you access the forum etc) there's various articles there that will go into detail about the different engines listed. I have seen somewhere on the forum a site that will tell you what engine conversions you can do for your car but I'm not quite sure where it is. I'll follow it up and see if I can find it for you. As for what they look like I can't help you there.

Ok just found it, it is also on the side bar if you click onto Articles, there are various options there that should help you out, I know that it can all be a bit confusing at first.

Thanks Craig, it was right under my nose the whole time.
It got a bit confusing reading a thread about a certain models or whatever and not knowing what the car looked like and such.
Now at least I can refer to those articles and know what I'm reading about.

Cheers, Greg

That link ^^^^^ is the bomb.

I must have visited that site over 1000 times since I found it about 5 years ago.

I view it at least 3 times a week easily.
