( MELB ) For sale 1976 Leyland Mini SOLD!!!!

I have a 1975 leyland mini with the 1100cc engine, it has a single 1.5 su, full exhaust with extractors ( not fitted yet ), 10 inch polished csa jelly bean wheels with falkens, aqua with a white roof and brown interior, just got the dizzy rebuilt, has a jvc head unit, tweeters in the front, 4 inch speakers under the back seat, 6x9's in the rear shelf, it has just been serviced, has a few gauges in the custom dash ( water, oil, volts, ) which 2 still need to be hooked up. now the only things i have found wrong with this car is the fuel gauge and speedo ceased working a few months back, could do with some brake shoes and a good brake system bleed, tiny amount of rust in boot area, it also has a new battery, and the carb needs a little attention

How much rust does the car have and where abouts is it? What would be needed to get a RWC on the car?

there is a tiny spot on the inside of the boot and that is it, its a very str8 and rust free mini which is rare, being a big guy i am just sick of squeezing into it and would like a new project, as for rwc i would recommend a bleeding of the brakes, the car has just been serviced, um let see, the drivers door mirror needs to be tightened, the fuel gauge and speedo dont work and very honestly that is it, oh and it needs a new window regulator for the passenger door,

Based on those pics, I'd say you are selling yourself a bit short. If it's mechanically sound and as straight as it looks, I reckon you get at least $2,500 for it, maybe as high as $3,000. I'd be asking something like $3,500 if it was mine, leaving some room for negotiation. Tidy Clubmans with strong mechanicals, 12 months reg and RWC regularly top $4,000.
Have a look at some prices around the web. eg: Trading Post and www.mini.org.au
BTW: I have a Mini Van, a Moke and a Traveller (estate) and I've been into Minis for years. I am a Member of the Vic Mini Club Inc.

i have to agree, you are asking way too much if it as good as it looks and the pics and from what you have said i would be asking 3000 minimum. but if i find the money to buy it at 2 totally disregard what i just said:P
