Looking for working central locking solenoids for the drivers door to fit an ae92, or something off another toyota that uses the same solenoids (if anyone knows of something the same)

Have you thought about using the solenoids from the kits you can get from Jaycar or Strathfield Car Radio etc. Around $40 gets you a set of 4 and you could use the existing wiring to trigger them.
Yeah I originally thought of that idea as I had two solenoids left over from my last car, The problem is the mechanisms are all there for the factory one to bolt right up, plus there are two seperate solenoids.. it could be done with enough work, but I'd much rather get something genuine to fit.
I'll get a price off toyota for a genuine replacement item next time I'm there...
