I also recomend this as I had a similair problem with my 1989 Camry 3S-FE
What is you clutch fluid like?? is it low?? or is it really muddy looking?? (mine was really dirty looking) I replaced my clutch master cylider when this happened all is fine now
oh and are you having trouble changing gears?? as this is what happened with mine
Is the clutch driven plate worn?? thats another possibilty
but yeah I think it's the master cylinder or slave cylinder sticking myself

Penguin walks into the mechanic's workshop, with cream around his beak......
Mechanic says "You've blown a seal mate!"
And the penguin says........."It was an icecream - honest !!!!"
Seriously, you have brake fluid slipping past the seals in either or both the clutch master or slave cylinder. Replace the slave cylinder (its cheaper) and see if that fixes the problem.
If not, rip off the clutch master and have it honed and rekitted.......and stay away from seals on the beach....

The other day I decided to try and fix or rather mantain my clutch. I tried flushing the system with new break fluid but it stayed merky. I got back in the car to drive home from my mates and the cluch pedal just hit the floor and didnt come back!!!
After alot of fooling around i decided to pull out the cylinder to have a look at the piston. There's a spring around the piston whick looks like it's made by welding 2 inter-twined smaller springs together. Anyway this was in about 4 or 5 pieces which fell out everywhere. Yay. Dead clutch!
So today i went and go a new master cylender and everything works fine It was the broken pieces of spring which made the clutch floppy at the bottom. Whenever i hit the clutch hard they would spread out and prevent the piston from moving the full length or the cylender.
I'll get the pics up soon, they're pretty funny looking back at it now. There's only half the amout of spring in the photo as the rest scattered all over the place......
