Wiper arm removal Fri, 08 November 2002 23:44 Go to next message
Hey guys

i'm trying to remove the windscreen wiper arms (ae92) and can't figure out how to do it.

i've removed the plastic cover over the screw, and then undone the screw, but after that i can't work out how. i tried prising the arm gently from the thread but that didn't seem to budge it at all

anyone know how to do it properly?

doing it so i can get the rain catch at bottom of windscreen out so can put a strut brace in.

thanks

Yeh get the biggest longest flat head screw driver you can find and lever the blade so that its on one of the bolts holding the assembly to the metal of the car and the other end under neath the actual wiper arm and go your hardest, they are a pain in the arse to get off especially virgin ones. when u put it back wack some grease in there for next time.
