7m ct26 fitting on GT-4 Thu, 24 March 2005 00:24 Go to next message
hey guys, sorry to be a noob, but apart from the obvious that the supra ct26 is single entry does it still bolt up? i've got a wastegate actuator for hte supra one already coz it's mounted slightly different but will it bolt up to the exhaust manifold ok??

thanks for ur help guys, my stocky is on the way out 320000 k it shoudl be screwed by now but i'ts still boosting 14psi,,

so if someone could get back ot me and let me know it will bolt up i'll get a supra one for a bit more oomff, i used to have a celi ct26 with a supra induction housing and compressor wheel but that died in a big way

anyway if someon could answer that question taht would be great

thanks

Get a gen1 manifold, it'll bolt up there after.

yes the bolt holes don't quite line up (they are wider spaced).

also the gen1 is a single entry designed manifold. And it bolts straight on. Since alot of gen1 guys grab the gen2 manifolds and put on the twin entry turbo.

The easiest way is to change the exhaust housing thats it, also the it will bolt up to your gen 2 manifold but you would need a new dump pipe.

Hey thanks for hte help guys, i appreciate it

i found a supra ct26, just ordered it, got it for a good price so i've got a spare exhaust manifold i'm gonna modify to fit it, or if i'm feeling extra creative i might make a whole new manifold, see how i feel when i get the turbo good excuse to make some extractors,, Very Happy
