1JZ Computer.. Anyone Sat, 09 November 2002 06:20 Go to next message
Have just Recieved the computer for my 1j which i have successfully fitted into a early soarer,I purchased the motor from sss as a complete engine/loom pack its from a jza70 supra.
It is a manual motor and computer....
Is there anything i should no before starting to wire this sucker up, At the moment it is looking fairly straight forward as the old motor was pulled out with eng loom only, the new computer should plug in the same with the dash wires of course being different, but alternator, starter should be the same.

I have managed to get some pretty bad wiring diagrams , from an auto, downloaded of the net, Have not tried to sort through all of the wires....

I NEED A 1JZ WIRING GURU and this will be the place i hope to find them.

The computer has 4 plugs left to right they are
34 pin 22 pin 16 pin 28 pin
Any help would be much appreciated,im young and dumb so anything would be great.... Thanks toymod members!!!

Go to my web page at
http://home.austarnet.com.au/petew/KINGSWOOD/Downl oads/JZA-70%201JZ-GTE%20JZA-70%20%20Supra%20Wiring %20Diag.pdf

This is a supra wiring diag. Worked a treat when i wired up my car.

The whole process is really straight forward.

There are a couple of earth wires and a few to hook 12 volts up to.

Heres a tip, if the early soarer has a single voltage fuel pump use the stock fuel pump relay to switch a standard relay.
