I'm in the process of buying and installing/tuning an Apexi SAFCII. was wondering if anyone here is using/used one, been in a car that has, know someone that has, and any recommendations regarding them?
Its for a ST162 Celica, new for $500 delivered

Yo i got a SAFC II in my st162, $500 is a heaps good price, i did have problems at the beginning with it not being wired properly and can be a problem with a immobiliser sometimes if not wired properly by a pro, your car will shut off at random times which is quite dangerous, but mine seems fixed and running well, but un-tuned until i can clock up another 1200km, but i did have it tuned before my engine rebuild and it added around 3 kw at the wheels buy my pistons cracked supposedly on the dyno requiring the engine rebuild.

Cool......i read-up on a few sites about installation and they did highly recommend a professional to fit and to be tuned on a dyno. will do a bit more research as to whether its worth-it or should i just get a full aftermarket computer to run ignition timing and air flow etc.
Anymore views?

yeah well depends on your budget i guess, unforunately st162's can't be chipped or re-programmed, so either aftermarket ECU and pay up to 2k for it, or i'm thinking of getting some sort of MSD ITC to make up for my igntion and let the SAFC take care of the fuel management
