Basically they said that they didn't want the kind of people that Powercruise attracted. That was one of the main reasons moving to Eastern Creek as well as the $$ figure they were asking.
Also Gup from powercruise said he would be sueing the Cruzetime guys if the event was very similar to it. And from the program that I saw, it looked nearly identical. Anyway, that is what Gup said a while back on QLD street car.

well that was what GUP said previously.
However, he didn't mention that this isn't the first Cruzetime event 
I read a bit about it and it seemed like fun. It would have been too disappointing for me to go in my shitbox car and watch anyway
