Hi people, I have used the search and cannot find out any threads on how to change brake pads over on a TA22 celica. So I have to post this thread... Can anyone explain the process in getting the pad out of the calliper? any help would be great.

This is for a TA22 celica BTW... Thanks.

well most older cars its remove pins and slide bolts/slide pads,
slide pads out, and that should be it. newer cars can be a bit harder but its pretty simple to do, then bleed afterwards and condition the pads with some driving as recommended

Yep, remove the pins from the silders, slide them out and then I think there's another spring type thing to remove before you get the pads out, make note of which way the springy things come out too, when you go to put the sliders back in, it won't work unless they are the correct way around.
