I got this months issue of "Wheels" magazine because I thought that the performance statistics could make a good comparision. Yet I am told by a chap at work that the figures for the Ford Falcon XR6 are at the Fly Wheel, yet the Japanese figures are at the wheels.
Is there any way of knowing which cars are quoted flywheel kilowatts as compared to kilowatts at the wheels?
all cars power figures are calculated at the flywheel whoever told you that is just spinning you shit, motor put the corolla sportivo and it only produce 95kw this was the 141kw engine before toyota had to release the mod up pack. They have dynoed Stock 200sx and found them to produce 110-120kw and comparing them to mod up pack. Last issue they put the liberty GT on the dyno to compare it to a ECU upgrade and it produced about 157kw, it has 190kw at the flywheel.
