I was thinking the same thing man.
I told him that the flwheel and clutch came in an ae92 100kw motor and he then said that that was a 215mm flywheel and clutch. I dont get it now!
I have told him to put it all on hold until i ge tthe flywheel anyway, but now im curious as to the size of it all...?

The AE92 Smallport GE had a 212mm clutch. Look it up in the Exedy cattledog, its 212mm. The AE86/82 Bigports had a 200mm clutch.
While the E-series boxes had either a 220 or 225mm clutch, cant remember. But its totally wrong for the GE
The ring gear is the same size.

with the 4agze clutches, there are two types:
# 225mm - most common
# 230mm - rare
with these two, the PCD for the pressure plate is also different (the 230mm being 2.5mm larger).
NOTE: no one who dealt with Daiken Exedy clutches was able to supply a 230mm 4agze clutch, and Daiken dont even list one in their catalogues.

When i built my GZE i was able to get a 230mm Exedy clutch, and pressure plate. Sure it would have cost $650 but i was able to get it. As it was i got the 3puck button clutch and sourced a 2nd hand TRD plate. All up $240
