Is it an overhead cam engine?
If so i wouldnt think it would be worth ur while to put roller rockers on it. Simply because overhead cams are already built very efficient making roller rockers less worth while then in a pushrod motor.

roller-rockers not so easy. would be helpful, but not worth the expense in a 4K, unless you are aiming for 9000rpm (for a short time )
dual springs easy, i got mine from performancesprings.com.au and were for an FJ20. thhey have afew for a 4K (CB4 or similar)

what do you need roller rockers for, if you leave cam and followers stock?
don't know for 4K, but for 5K you can use chevy roller followers and custom made billet roller cam. few shops in here Finland makes bolt-on roller rockers.

what price are the 5K ones? they should be similar enough to 4K to adapt.
4K lifter is smaller bore so 5K followers won't fit
wonder if it is more worth moving the rockershaft and increasing the rocker arm ratio, as well as rollers..
even so, the whole valve train sucks needs to be a lot lighter and less friction

alright guys im planning on doing a bit of a piston upgrade (oversized from nasons?? pistons) a bit of a cam upgrade and i will be running twin downdraught webers. Hopefully i will port and polish the bigport and have it revving in a decent high range. That should help out with the answers to my original post.

I just got a quote today on datsun A14 roller rocker kit and it was in the range of $835. So unlesss it a race motor and your looking for every ounce of power you can drain from the beast then go for it. But otherwise "let it be"
hope this helps.

I will ask for the price for rockers, but as i said earlier it's no use to put roller rockers if you leave stock followers.
Many over 170hp N/A(dynoed) 5K engines have made with stock rockers and no problems at all
