that's about it..
as for "stats", remember that these motors have been produced from 1966 to 2004, and the method of measurement of the stats has changed significantly in that time..
basically they are all piss weak but the standard CCC and EFI will help them all.

Hey
Whats ccc? I know efi, but ccc? Piss weak! Nooo! Its apparently so easy to put one in a corolla cos its already got a 4k so it seems logical lol!
Thanks

4K.
5K is easiest, but it depends how fast you want to go.
7K is harder.

Hehe, yep the guy waiting at the on ramp, as you came onto cam in your car was a definite highlight of my recent trip over there - he was like: "WTF, that's only an old Corolla, they don't go that fast?!?"

.... and the rare 3K-R.

I don't know anything much about them, other than they're a twin-cam multi-valve head type. Looks like that one is out of a Forumla Car of some sort.

LOL, it's a bit like that.
took it to the drags tonight, timing was static 35deg (ish).
only got 17 flat . does feel a bit meatier now than when you went for a ride Clint.
kept up to a mild (intake and exhaust) new magna to half track tho, which is pretty much the same experience as on the road... up to end of 2nd gear i can keep up with most things..
is definitely quicker than a 7MG cressida tho

I want one. I'm assuming it's basically a 3k block with everything else no-where near related to any other k series engine.

I see 7K-E missing
7K and 7K-E has different cr
i would go with the 7K-E, although i don't like the "new school" look on the EFI manifold 4K-E is best for looks

i wonder if there is a twincam crossflow head that can be used on the k bottom end, for example an e-series datsun head can be used on a a-series bottom end.

there isn't. you could sit down and adapt something, like using a 2T-G head on a 3Y bottom end, or you could make a new one from scratch. but it's just a crappy little K motor, why waste your time, you'd be SO much better to put something else in which already has a twincam head and likely a stronger bottom end and more capacity for more torque
