have 1 set that has been lightened and shotpeened you can have them for what they cost me for the machine work and peening 200bucks

In regards to the lightening of the rods, where was the weight removed from? Were they balanced?

they were lightened on the pin end and yes they are balanced
|

Were they closed and honed?
Also, do you think the lightening could cause them to be weaker than a standard set?

you mean were they resized yes they were and no the pin end is to heavy any way

So definately only weight removed was from the gudgeon pin area and not the beam?
