BEAMS 3SGE power output... what is it really?	Tue, 29 March 2005 10:10

I've been searching around the forums and everything I dig up on the Beams power output turns up 210ps... what would this equate to in RWKW / RWHP ? Thinking of putting one into the ra28 [Report message to a moderator]

Me was thinking that the Redtop Beams works out to 200ps and the blacktop is 225ps . There is a gent on here that owns 2 Blacktop Beams and he could probably shed some light on this, but his name eludes me right now. edit didn't you only just put the 1G in last year???edit [Updated on: Tue, 29 March 2005 10:17] [Report message to a moderator]

I know CelicaRA45 is achieving huge results (~200kw!) with a blacktop, but he's done a lot of work to his (throttle bodies, aftermarket ecu, cams, forged internals, raised compression...) [Report message to a moderator]

So there is no point in comparing it with the 1GGTE already in the car then... My 1G (Currently dead) put out roughly 160 rwkw and was hoping the beams may of come close to that... Guess I should keep dreaming Hmm... need to find a good conversion for the 28 now... would love a 3SGTE but have a feeling it will be too much stuffing around.
