hey hey hey..

my gauges have been playin up (not workin) off and on for a couple of weeks and the other day i had a play under the bonnet checked some wires and stuff then started it up and they worked...but now they r dead again i dont know wat wires do wat or if i did anything at all and it was just luck that it fixed itself..can anyone help?

is it a bad earth?

wat do shall one do to over come such misfortune?

Sounds very much like a bad earth somewhere in the dash. Basically, you rattle/jiggle stuff until you find the offending connecter that kills the dials.

there r only about 1 million wires back there....i gotta get the dials workin first...mmm thanks..

anyone esle got any ideas?

make sure your battery terminals are making a good connection and how old is ur battery?gauges and things sometimes playup when ur battery is dying.just a suggestion Smile

ok i just took off the terimal and put it back on and it works...lets just hope it stays that way cause its very unpredictable...i couldnt pin point wat i did for it to work the other times cause i did a lot of things before checkin if it worked...anyway thanks for ya help...

well the problem is fixed now...i just adjusted the battery terminal and they r now working...but no they didnt flutter..they were either workin or the needle was at the bottom...
