Star Wars fans: anyone thinking of going to opening night? (SYD) Thu, 31 March 2005 07:10 Go to next message
Well tickets went on sale today (i thought it was tomorrow for some stupid reason), and fkn fox studios is already 100% sold out for opening night 12:01am sessions - thats right... ALL SOLD OUT.

I was just wondering if anyone else out there is planning on going to an opening night session?
If so, where?
Anyone thinking of going but not got anything sorted?

I am hoping to find another "La Premier" or "Gold Class" cinema with available seats for the opening session. If enough people express interest tonight i rekon we could try to swing a larger group in. I have about 5-6 people already interested... i dont mind trying to organise more.

Call me a nerd fanboy if you will... i just love teh Star Wars.

It is your destiny.....

No one bothered to tell me tickets went on sale today. I'm going to grab some for the Regent cinema up here in brisbane. Its in the mall and la-de-da looking with gold stuff and curtains and tapestries, its where the big lineup happens. Last time was good fun!

Waiting for the nerd bashing to commence.

clearly you have no taste and as such no place in this thread.

YOU are gay, with aids.

If you have nothing positive to add to this thread, then dont post. The topic here is pretty clear - discussions for those who ARE GOING to see Star Wars. It is not a bitch about your failed upbringing and subsequent lack of taste and culture.

SEEYOUBYE.

ARRRGGGG!!!!!!! Curse my 12h thursday shift to HELL!!!! There would be no way i could both go and see the movie and survive the day at work... *sigh* i'll have to watch the movie at a regular time like all the other smucks.

Just as a side question... whats the most amount of times you went to see a star wars movie at the cinema? Mine was 4 times (well 3 1/2 really... just wanted to see that end fight scene again) Hmmmmm does this make me a total loser now?
