I want to run a V6 4-runner engine RWD only. The prob is the gearbox has an extension housing for a transfer case. Is there any way around this or do i have to bite the buller and pay for a R154. The R154 has a longer input shaft but i guess i could try and swap the R151F shaft with the R154. I hear of a 2WD V6 hilux that used a R150 gearbox which is RWD only but i cant seem to lacate any. Any ideas?
The new hilux coming out has a v6 in it in 2wd but I don't know if it the same as the old one might be worth looking into but I don't know how you will go getting thhe new parts
