Hey everyone. thought id post up some pics of my car seeing that now i have some good quality pics.

few details about the car
-------------------------

Had the car for a while now and it was handed down to my from my bro. then i decided to do a conversion. annd the 1jz-gte was the best motor for its price. it was going to b a 2jz-gte origanally. but the cost was to much.
with a few months work and determination we(my brother and me Very Happy ) had the motor in and running like a dream.

got the car sprayed and the bonnet custom made. with the vents ( no it wasnt a rip off the fast & the furious Razz ) i actually had it done before the movie came out. saw it on a few pics of supras and just feel in love hehe

about a year ago i needed a new clutch and the box was going and i needed to fix a few other things and becuase funds where a lil short at the time i decided to wait and rebuild the car. 1 whole year with out my baby Sad

few months ago i finally got a full time job lol and rebuilt the car ground up. resprayed the engine bay and underneath the car. new brakes / shocks / bushes / sprayed the parts black / new exhuast / cleaned up the interior / new front mount cooler / and anything else ive missed lol

installed a mp3 player / turbo timer / apexi rsm / greddy twin pillar mount / apexi boost gauge / power windows

future mods/things to do
-------------------------

this is a list of things i wish to do on the car to finish my project

interoir with custom dash ( nuffin to fancy) - blue and white (pic below of how i want it)

deep dish rims - 17 x 8 (undecided on wat rims to purchase)

custom lsd diff with disk conversion instead of drum.

custom intercooler piping. polished (the shiny lookn stuff Very Happy )

boost controller - not toooo highh...maybe 18 to 20 psi Razz nah just jking just that tee wee lil bit to give it that extra pull.

custom carbon fibre bonnet

custom number plates

ok enough with the blaber...here are some pics...more to come later on

Looks good mate! I can't quite tell but have you ditched the clutch fan as it looks about a tight a fit as my rona. Is that the standard radiator?

one more thing to do is a shroud around the pod filter. It can be done easily with the bonnet insulation from clark rubber. Cheap as chips and good for performance.

Hey man,

nice car, I would like to eventually swap in a new engine to my Ra60, anyting besides the 21Rc Sad I was just wondering what you used to fill the holes under the black strips on the celica? I pulled mione off couple of weeks ago, I was thinking body filler? and what kind of cannon is that? it looks fat!

Cheers, andy

i am using a W58 which i got a bellhousing made up to fit the 1jz-gte

i got the holes welded up properly when i had it sprayed.
its just a cannon that i took off my bros car coz he didnt need it anymore. when i re did the exhuast. not sure on brand. its huge i know lol

have fun doing the conversion Mookie

es it is street legal. it does go hard. take offs arnt that great coz its only single spinner. but this will change later on. but now it doesnt seem to b going as good as it used to. make the turbos are on there way ? im not expert on the matter. my bro is the mechanic.

also i should be getting some rims this weekend or next.

getting racing hart CR copies. i got priced for CR's to fit the celica.. $4500 Shocked

so im going with copies which is only costing me half the price. getting em test fitted on Sat. so hopefully ill get em Very Happy

will post some pics up once i do get them

sorry my replies have been so late. just havnt had time to reply. been busy with work and shit

keep the comments coming tho Smile bad or good. least i know wat ppl think lol. either way im happy Wink
