MZ10 SOARER + 1JZ-GTE *SOLD* YAY!!! Thu, 31 March 2005 12:58 Go to next message
Hey Guys. I need to get rid of my Soarer. Its a 10 series. Its straight and running with an MT-EU turbo motor. The M-TEU is a lil tired but i am including a 1JZ conversion. The 1j is twin turbo and has done under 70k so it is not far from bein run in. Its out of a Chaser so it has the larger ECU. It also comes with engineered 10 series engine mounts and the loom is partly ready for installation. The car still has its original turbo seats and many new parts. Plus mega discounts on other parts you may require. If you want more info please send me an email at g_atec_rasher@hotmail.com . Cheers

Thats not a chaser motor.
It has a rear sump. Which I believe may be out of a soarer.
but still looks clean. do you have a front sump to bolt it into the car with?

The chaser sump was taken off because it was about to be used as a replacement motor for a 30 series soarer but the chaser sump was put back on after the photo was taken. The motor is already bolted in the other soarer. The engine mounts are already engineered for a 10 series soarer. I still have the chaser instrument cluster for proof of km's the motor has done. If the cars arn't sold by Saturday the motor will be removed from the other soarer and the car will be towed away. The price won't change cause the other car was just a free one that i wanted to get rid of. Its dead straight and only has a small amount of rust. Also the rims on the car in the pics will be part of the deal if sold by Saturday. They are 16 x 8.5's and 16 x 7's the tyres are almost new. I am open to offers but plz keep in mind that the standard price for a 1JZ-GTE is around 2200 thats for a soarer motor, the chaser motors are slightly more. Also this motor runs the hydrolic fan setup which is only found on chasers and V8 soarers not 6cyl soarers and i will also throw in a supra intercooler instead of the smaller soarer intercooler.

Do you have any bits left over from the JZX81 halfcut like
the strut brace, radio buttons and the cupholders from the dash?

I work for an auto importer. I can get my hands on just about anything you desire. Except whole cars. I've even got airbag struts and loads of interior bits for most cars. =]

hm... if you can get interior pieces for Z20 soarers, could you let me know?

Also, if you can get the body kit for the soarer (the stock aero kit, side skirts etc)

Cheers

Those are the 14x7 Supra ones, not the 15x6 Soarer ones.

What is going to happen to the MZ10 that currently has the 1JZ sitting in it when you take the 1JZ out of it...(if it doesn't sell by saturday?)...if it is going to be towed to the scrap yard I might be interested in saving it! Smile

Also where about in birsbane are you?

Cheers

i will also consider swapping for something around the 3K mark. And for those chasing 20 series soarer parts we have just got a car in at work with a complete interior. Plus we have all panels and running gear.

Where will the car be towed to? Are you still going to keep it, or will it be going to a wreckers? If it going to a wreckers, I would like to save it, or at least like to know if thats possible....

Thanks mate. But it looks like i may have to finish it myself. Which could be a good idea considering i'll spend 2k on it including fitting the motor myself and i know i will get atleast 8 for it but i'll leave it up for sale for now n see if people arn't affraid of a little bit of work. I mean if they want a turn key drive away car then they have one cause its still runs fine..jus blows a lil smoke while on idle cause of the stem seals. Will even throw in a Safety Certificate.
So far it has a rebuilt bottom end ($1250) and a rebuilt turbo ($800) i reckon the price is really fair

Yep, its a bargain price for what you get. Smile

If even comes with 16" wheels (*cough* try finding wheels for a MZ10/MA61)!

If your after a MZ10 you should seriously be looking at this.

Cheers
