I'm having problems starting my 1995 Corolla when its cold. It usually catches and idles after a fashion if I don't use the accelerator. The problem is when I put my foot on the accelerator to move off the engine just dies. I don't have the problem when the engine is warm. Any ideas?
I don't know if it applys to the Corolla but applys to the 5M-E, there is a cold start "air bypass valve", search the forum. Replace that and all should be good. It happened to my 5M when I bought it, when I replaced the valve, it's easy to start...
