hey all if anyone knows of a black top head that anyone wants to get rid please let me know i need one bad

just get a silvertop one. almost identical.

actually they are quite different port wise. completly different casting. black flows a lot more than the silver one.
however we can port a silvertop head to flow more than a TTE race prepared blacktop head (have flow figures to prove it)

Finally someone else whose done some home work!! Also we get better comp out of them as well...

Yep Got one, Done 20Km, No throttle, No Cams or shims/buckets... These are being put to good use. $500

leigh,
to get the flow you need to run bigger cams (more lift) so it would really only suit aftermarket cams etc, but it would work on factory setup, just not as well as it could with cams, programmable management etc...
$500 not bad - buckets & cams out of silvertop head will retrofit. (or can buy new from toyota believe it or not)

I've also heard a particular Yamaha item also fit's, but don't quote me on that!
