Thanks cool mate. For an import its high kms. But if you compare it with the aust cars its actually low for its age.
I'm also willing to negotiate on price so who knows someone may get a good deal.

Is that 4-6K complied with rego on road or just buying price with shipping?
If you can get them for that sort of price then good luck to you.
I'm negotiable on the price but not to that extent.

With all due respect, you really should not "speculate" in some poor bugger's for sale thread.
Do the decent thing and post after you have the proof as you are killing his chances of selling the car with out a shread of proof to back up your claims.
My 2 cents.
Cheers.

Thanks superaw11. I'm glad someone is making sense.
Im my experience with import cars over the years there are alot of people who claim they can get you this or that at such and such a price but when it comes down to it they dont deliver or if they its way below expectactions.

YEah unfortunately these cars don't fetch what they should be worth
Theres a car wholesaler down at Balmain - Prestige Motors, from memory speak to Tim. He can get you a low K SC400 for about 8-9K

ya... now you can simply get one from an importer for around 6k
and i think it should be under 10 k for on-the-road price
you can get one with less than 100k mileage as well

If you are very lucky you will get one for around $5000 landed uncomplied. Compliance cost is around $3000 plus tyres, so the 6k complied figure is utter rubbish. Also, with the RAWS scheme laws the way they are, the 5k cars may well have accident history, in which case you can kiss goodbye any chance of it ever seeing the road. Expensive halfcut is all you end up with..... I have seen it soooo many times its not funny. In fact, if you buy a good non-accident damaged car in Japan you can still be screwed up by some 3rd grade gimp on the wharf lifting the car up with a forklift and causing damage to the chassis rails. Ive seen that a couple of times too.
Suffice to say that for a car already in Australia its a fair price, and as for mileage, well a sucker is born every day and people who believe every figure they see on japan odometers is a real sucker
