hey people im organising a few people to come down on the 13th of april to run their cars down the strip.
Who's interested in coming??? Can meet up b4 hand and go as one group or all just meet down there.
So far looks like:
2 MK3 supra's
1 77 celica
1 300ZX
1 R31
Lets go smash some PB times in style.

Hey justin it would be great to see that MA61 run down the strip. We are getting close to starting laurens 1j MA61 so would be good to see what we can make of hers.

Yeh, cool! I'll prolly have to borrow a helmut. With boost put back to 18psi, I'm hoping to get a 12.9 (my best G-Tech score).
And I'd be happy to share what I;'ve learnt the hard way about 1J MA61's.
Are we meeting-up beforehand?

well i might be out for that april 16th event at tha drags,
coz last night at tha drags the standard diff didn't want any more punishment.
so hopefully if all goes well my hilux diff will be ready
(but i doubt it).
does anyone know when whoop Wednesday ends for tha season and
also starts again..

Damn, damn, damn and DAMN! I've got a Board meeting (which will be my mental state that arvo) Wed. arvo/evening, so won't be able to make it in time ... and I'm really pissed-off about it.
I spent the weekend mapping boost to a relatively safe 1.2bar and getting all excited. Grrrrr....

well, from what i saw im very impressed!
i arrived late enough to only see one pass, which was a 13.66 @ icantrememberMPH.
i never got to talk to Matty so im still unaware if this was his quickest E.T for the night, he might have gone quicker.
either way matt its a nice time matt you must have the supe running well. congrats.
i have video and stills of that pass, just give us a hoy if you want it personally or hosted.

mattys car was fast, very fast.
i got various pics of the night, basically just mattys car and the MISFIT.
no problemo to host em up at all
that EVO-VIII was ALOT slower than i expected, and there were a few funny moments, like that bloke who snapped his tailshaft, ahhah

MOFO mate you shoulda got there just a touch earlier dude, my first pass i ran a 13.1 and im more than happy with that.
And that was without a burnout hehe
Had a couple of little problems, one was traction and the other woz it kept boost spiking for some unknown reason which kept hitting boost cut causing a few dramas. Only spiked once on my first run which is how i managed the 13.1 but after that my next 3 passes it spiked and cut in every gear. Makes for an unpleasant ride let me tell you.
Otherwise my 13.1 woz run on 12psi apart from the once off spike to boost cut. So i am definantly happy with that time, next time its stickys and couple a PSI more and she be doing 12's. then it'll be time to aim for 11's

Can some1 with a jza70 please post some times and wot boost and mods they are running, and manual or auto, from what i can gather im running a bit quiker than most 1J mk3's with the same or a few more mods than me. All of my mods are custom and done by myself apart from the dump pipes which were done by manmx83. I did the exhaust and everything else myself, even after being told not to do it the way i wanted too, i like to be different 
Proof is in the pudding my friends
ohh my trap speed was 166k's
How big is the video MOFO, yeah i wouldnt mind having it, or yeah can ya host it so i can see it? Cheers mate, spewin no one has one of the 13.1, would have like to compared the 2.

Matty i will put a large wager on your car weighing a significant amount LESS than say a widebody A70, thus yeilding a lower et. but yeah still very quick for the mods. your launch's look very good, slipping the clutch and next to no wheelspin on the actuall takeoff, only when boost hits you break traction.
there is a weighbridge on bannister road and southwest highway, both are free, just find a couple minutes on the way home and go weigh her.
