Ignition wiring wiring for bigport 4a-g (can I use smallport parts?)

Hi all, i'm making a new loom for my 4a-g going into my ae86.
Im using the stock computer for now.
The only snag I have run into is the ignition side of things..
Can someone please post a pic of what the ignitor/coil looks like?
Is it a integrated unit?
Can I use an ae92 one?
what about the ae92 dissy? can I replace the entire dissy in my bigport with a ae92 one?
Reason being i can only really get smallport parts up here locally.

the ae92 dizzy and ae82 (4AG) distributors are different - no you can't interchange them.
the coil and ignitor is also different on the 100kw to the 86kw but i'm not sure if they will interchange i'd doubt it.

i was in a similar situation a while ago, i have a smallport in my sprinter, but it was running a bigport ecu, dizzy and TPS.
dizzys are different, so i got a smallport one, then got some smallport looms and ecus and made one good loom out of all the stuff.
im using an unknown ignitor and coil, and still using the bigport TPS, as they are functionally the same (different plugs)
short answer, if you change everything, you can run either engine with the other ECU.

Well thats no bloody good.
Where could I buy a new distributor cap and rotor then for my bigport dissy?
Also re the coils pack, if anyone has a pic of EITHER that would be super helpful.
Surely they cannot be that much different if you can swap ecus??
Do they have the same ammount of wires going into/out of them between the two series?

ECUs are the least interchangable part of the lot, the plugs are totally different.
i learnt this the hard way,
the best thing you can do is buy a frontcut for a conversion,
next best thing, buy a complete loom with ECU and everything.
you can buy a dizzy cap and rotor from toyota, try bursons or repco or whatever, take in your old one and make sure the one they give you is the same.
as for ignitor/coil, apparently the ones from a 5ME engine work on every type of 4AGE.
injectors are not interchangable either.

Do you know how much a cap and rotor are from toyota?
I dont have an old one.. thats the problem..
Buying a microtech is sounding like a very viable option right now though..
